Lawson McGhee Children's Room closed Friday, July 11

The Children’s Room at Lawson McGhee Library will be closed Friday, July 11. 

Other departments will remain open, and the Children's Room will resume regular hours beginning Saturday.

Since 2005, Knox County Public Library's Children's Festival of Reading has been host to a stellar lineup of children's book authors and illustrators, from Anna Dewdney to Tomie dePaola, Jack Gantos to Mo Willems. In recent years, Knox County students have been able to fan out over their One Book Read City authors!
