Supplement our collection by streaming thousands of movies, TV shows, music albums, comics and magazines with Hoopla.
Hoopla works with most smartphones, tablets, and computers as well as Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, Fire TV, and Samsung TV.
The library pays a fee for each checkout so patrons are limited to 7 checkouts each month and are also subject to a daily fee cap for total library spending. At the beginning of each month your limit will reset. Daily caps reset the next day. (A "BingePass" allows multiple uses on a single checkout for certain items, such as magazines, documentaries, and Great Courses programs.)
Hoopla is not available for library cards issued as Youth or Student card types. However, an adult can register in Hoopla and then switch into age-appropriate content for kids:
- Using your remote, navigate to the blue side menu.
- Navigate down to settings.
- Select Kids Mode.
- Select Turn On.
Kids Mode filters content for ages 13 and under, to be used with parental guidance. The titles available range from G-General Audiences to PG – Parental Guidance Suggested. Parents or guardians are expected to decide whether a specific title is appropriate for their child.
