Library Seeks Marketing Intern

Knox County Public Library and its subsidiaries (i.e, East Tennessee History Center, Dolly Parton's Imagination of Knox County) are seeking an intern to help analyze best practices for program and service promotion with a focus on appropriate platforms and subject-level account creation, search engine optimization, and maximizing algorithms on social media and other communications vehicles that best fit Library interests. Ideally, the deliverable will be a report with recommendations for Library marketing and communications.

This internship is unpaid. The schedule is flexible and dependent on the intern’s class load. KCPL’s Assistant Director for Marketing, Communication and Development will work with the supervising faculty and guide the intern on site. The intern may work remotely and meet with the Library on a regular schedule or, if preferred, can have space at the Library to conduct their work.
