Catalog scheduled maintenance

The library's catalog server (behind Aspen Discovery and the Aspen LiDA app) will be upgraded on September 27 between approximately 8:00 a.m. and noon. The catalog will be completely inaccessible part of the time, but as much as possible it will be in offline mode. The catalog is available here during offline mode, but account functions (like signing in and placing holds) will be unavailable.

Due to inclement weather, all Library locations will be closed on Friday, Sept. 27.

We should resume our regular schedule on Saturday.

Event Details

Union Ave Books and Knox County Public Library are proud to present this special event together.

One Saturday a month, we have invited an author and/or illustrator to come read their books to all interested children and their families. Books will be available to purchase, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to KCPL.

Our featured author this month is Ashlee Latimer. She is a writer, producer, and director focused on creating work that supports and celebrates young people of all ages. Ashlee lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, and travels as much as possible. You can find her online talking about books, theater, and Disney movies at @ALNL on Twitter and @ashleelaurynnichole on Instagram.
