Knoxville is a dog-friendly town, with pet owners walking their fur buddies downtown and many restaurants offering outdoor seating to accommodate their four-footed customers. But animals, both wild and domesticated, have always been part of our story. Join Laura Still for a stroll through previous centuries when all kinds of beasts, friendly or otherwise, wandered our downtown streets.
