Event Details
Learn about the women and organizations who worked for change and the right to own property, pursue an education and a profession, and not only cast a vote, but run for office. Laura Still will introduce you to Knoxville writers, artists, and activists who led the fight for equal rights, and allowed Tennessee to become the deciding vote to ratify the 19th Amendment.
Be prepared to walk for up to 90 minutes. The tour will take place in light rain or shine.
