Daytime Docs Film Series - Meet the Patels

Daytime Docs is a monthly film series featuring documentaries that bring awareness to diverse perspectives and life experiences through the power of visual storytelling. 

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islanders Month, we will view Meet the Patels (2014), a laugh-out-loud real-life romantic comedy about Ravi Patel, an almost-30-year-old, recently broken-up Indian-American. Filmed by Ravi’s sister in what started as a family vacation video, this hilarious and heartbreaking film reveals how love is a family affair.
