Program Description

All Over the Page

All Over the Page is a monthly evening book discussion group for adults, with a guest facilitator.

Event Details

This month we will be discussing Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie. The discussion will be lead by Jodie Manross.

Linnet Doyle is young, beautiful, and rich. She's the girl who has everything-including the man her best friend loves. Linnet and her new husband take a cruise on the Nile, where they meet the brilliant detective Hercule Poirot. It should be an idyllic trip, yet Poirot has a vague, uneasy feeling that something is dangerously amiss...

Jodie Manross is a Knoxville singer-songwriter and a licensed acupuncturist with a doctorate in acupuncture and public health. Jodie worked as Lawson McGhee’s first “floating” library staff and in the Children’s Room. She helped to create the “Baby Bookworms” storytimes when at Cedar Bluff Library. She still performs with Saturday Stories and Songs and at the Festival of Reading. As an advocate for literacy and everything books, Jodie is also opening a used bookstore called The Little Village Bookshop in Rugby, Tennessee this year.
