On October 20, 2022, Knox County Public Library was joined by Lt. Governor Randy McNally and Knox County Commissioners Kim Frazier, Larsen Jay, Rhonda Lee, and Gina Oster to cut the ribbon on our latest Storybook Trail next to Powell Branch Library. In the spectacular setting of Collier Preserve, visitors enjoyed rock painting, treats from Kona Ice, eats from Stolen Streetlights, and most importantly, the story of an old rock who has some incredible memories to share!
This trail was made possible by Legacy Parks Foundation, Friends of the Knox County Public Library, ORNL Federal Credit Union, Walmart #1318 and the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Community Trust. Special thanks to Knox County Parks and Recreation, Library Facilities and the Knox County Health Department.
