On January 24, 2023 at the Historic Bijou Theatre, we kicked off the #ReadCity2023 'All Together Now' challenge with Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs and WBIR's Robin Wilhoit. Amazing performances by GO! Contemporary Dance Works, Daniel Wiseman, UT jazz students under the direction of Keith Brown, and the Read City Singers got our audience jazzed about the upcoming challenge.

Mayor Jacobs challenged our community to "go platinum" in 2023 by reading one million hours! More at www.knoxcountylibrary.org/readcity
